Under the motto "Open for your success", leading dry construction experts met on March 17, 2022 in Moringen. KÖNIG Profilsysteme is one of five selected hosts of the 2022 event series.

During the lively panel discussion, Katharina Metzger (Metzgergruppe), Thomas Schmid (Gipserschmid), Hartmut Goldboom (Hagebau), Meiko Fiedler (König), Markus Runte (Danogips) and Stefan Schnell (Rug Semi) provided convincing arguments for the free choice of system components.

Background:

The systems for walls and ceilings offered in dry construction are divided into closed and open systems. Both system types are tested and certified in test laboratories according to fire resistance classes (e.g. F30, F60, etc.). Manufacturers of closed systems only use products from their own portfolio to finish their wall and ceiling systems - from profiles to plasterboard.

The certificates (abP) issued for this apply exclusively to the company's own components used. In addition to this type of system, it is also possible to combine DIN products from different manufacturers. This is called an open system. The test certificates include all components used that comply with DIN standards. Since all KÖNIG products comply with DIN standards, specialist contractors have maximum flexibility when selecting products for creating their wall and ceiling systems.
